I have been reading several news articles on Casa Roble High School's cheerleading coach Carlie Becker who was fired for posing nude in playboy under the name Carlie Christine. It seems some of the girls whom she kicked off the cheerleading squad for skipping school outed Carlie Becker by exposing her playboy pictures to school officials. The playboy pictures of Carlie Christine were spread out over the internet.

The school officials fired Carlie Becker, alias Carlie Christine, because they felt she was an unsuitable role model for teen-age girls. This is just one of many examples of how something we do now can effect us down the road.

Tax Day Tea Party

On April 15, 2009, tax day across America, some Americans are protesting excessive taxes by having a tea party. This is much like the Boston tea party which was on December 16, 1773, when colonists boarded a British ship of taxed tea and destroyed the tea by throwing it into the Boston Harbor. On this occasion TEA represents Taxed Enough Already. Some people who believe the government is overspending and overtaxing, are thereby protesting in different ways by having their own tea party.
